Take a wee peek inside…

Did I mention how gorgeous all the art is that was sent in by 37days readers for my new book? Prompted by artist Donna B Miller (a 37days reader who also did the cover illustration!), there are over 120 pieces of full-color art in LIFE IS A VERB. Designer Diana Nuhn at Globe Pequot Press put it all together in a gorgeous way.Life_is_a_verb_101226_sp_5_3 Take a wee peek inside… Life_is_a_verb_101226_sp_6_3

  • Ohmygod, Patti, it’s GORGEOUS! Can’t wait to see/read it! :)

  • While I would rather not wait, I will continue to do so.

Now? Is now good to let us have our copies?

    What about now?

I’m like the shunned new doctor in the little town where everyone prefers to see old Doc Brown. No patients (…ence).

  • Counting the days till the release! Diana has done such a beautiful job. It’s truly a work of art.

This is absolutely beautiful, Patti. Gorgeous!

  • This is wonderful–I do love the internet, but there is just nothing like the feel and smell and the experience of a BOOK! I am so excited for you–and for your readers (ok, me!)as well.

    It’s beautiful! Congratulations!

  • So I participated in your art for your book, which I found by way of blog stalking. I also am a regular reader, as my father also was diagnosed with lung cancer. My good news was that it was caught early and they removed part of his lung and we – his family – all moved on. Fast forward 15 days ago, 4 years past his successful surgery. 15 days ago we found him unconscious, the day before at 78 he went to work. We really have no idea how he got so sick so fast, but on a beautiful sunrise with his children and wife of 52 years with him, my father passed away. So your 37 days became our 15 days and our lives are changed forever. I will take comfort in reading your book when it arrives and hope to find solace in the days to come.
