My new orange desk

Welcome to my new space, my new orange desk, my new online home.

I am opening up space and clearing ground for a creative, fulfilling, amazing year, and I hope you’ll join me in doing the same.

I am beginning this year, seven years after I started writing 37days, with a renewed sense of urgency.

Have I said what I long to say?
Not fully.
Have you?
Let’s.

It occurs to me each New Year’s Eve that the choice is mine for the coming year–to be happy in advance, or not. To leave my voice behind, or not. To create what I long to say in the world, or not. To love well, live fully, let go deeply, and make a difference–or not.

This year is especially meaningful to me as I change my life dramatically to stay home more. It has become so clear to me that my youngest daughter, Tess, needs me at home–and I am excited to begin making clear, strong offers of online classes and retreats near home in order to do just that–do my work in the world in a way that supports her in the way she needs to be supported. I hope some of my offers are ones that can support you in your dream as well. With a few special exceptions, if you want to find me in 2012, look toward Asheville, NC.

I have loved being a part of your lives for seven years, and I look forward to many more years in conversation and community with you.
