life is complex, not complicated.

Book The death that sparked the beginning of this blog happened in just 37 days. Such a short time frame. So short that it left no time for regret for things undone.

It changed my life.

I wanted to create a life in my own voice, one that was full and rich and happy and potent. Out of that journey has come this blog and my book, Life is a Verb.

And out of that book has come a powerful 12-week (6-month) coaching process that recognizes that life is complex, not complicated. Twice a year, we invite a small group to journey together through the concepts in Life is a Verb and beyond, to recognize the patterns of our lives–and to know which ones serve us and which ones bind us.

My creative partner and personal coach, David Robinson, and I have created what folks have called a powerful process of awareness, intention, and action. There are no bells and whistles, no special offers or freebies, no wild promises or fancy technological gadgets. Just thoughtful, rich dialogue, a community of peers to build relationship with, bi-weekly coaching sessions with us, and meaningful questions to guide you into your own personal story in a deeper way. That's all. And that's everything. We hope you'll join us.

Here's what two current participants have to say about the Life is a Verb telecoaching groups:

"For the past couple of decades, I've immersed myself in the world of personal development both for my own life journey and also for my training as a coach. When I stumbled upon Patti Digh's book "Life is a Verb," I was blown away by the wisdom encapsulated in her exquisite essays. I knew instantly that I would love to learn more from her and was thrilled to discover the telecoaching group that Patti offers with her business partner and her coach David Robinson. The experience has far exceeded my very high expectations. The calls in and of themselves are extraordinary. The assignments that followed each call became a much-cherished part of my daily life. In this six months, I have learned more about myself and more about how I want to spend this "one wild and precious life" of mine than I learned in the previous two decades of reading, study and training. Patti and David's combined wisdom, grace and creativity is powerful beyond description.  This six month experience has been a journey that I would not have missed for the world." -Sally Robertson

"If you want to learn what it feels like to love yourself, to let go of judgment, and to live in the moment, then this is the course for you. It is not just a 12-week program – it is a virtual toolbox you can use for the rest of your life. Go for it!! I'm certainly glad I was part of this remarkable process." –Nan Scarborough

More information is here. Because we want to keep the groups to a human scale, we're limiting our September 2010 class to 16 people. I hope you'll be one of them.
