Half-marathon theme song.

Deb Cooperman sent me this on Twitter and it made me laugh out loud.

Of course! I think I'll put it on my iPod that I don't know how to turn on much less load music onto and listen to it for 13.1 miles on Sunday!

Here's to the intrepid women from 10 states who will join me (in the rain, it appears) in Cincinnati (THE CITY OF SEVEN HILLS, by the way, a reminder to check the branding slogan of every town in which you might or might not run a marathon):

Oh my gawd, that’s perfect! The lyrics and the perky tune are sure to get you to the finish line in no time at all. (Fingers, toes, eyes, & legs crossed for you.) I WILL be sending encouraging and supportive thoughts your way on Sunday morning.

I will light a candle for you! I’ll lend you whatever strength I can! If you smell vanilla rooibos tea at some point during your run, that would be me. :D

i’ll be thinking of you tomorrow morning and sending wishes for ease and comfort your way. i do hope the rain holds off! we’ve been having some real downpours up here.
