This, my friends, is poetry

A friend on Twitter, @MrsRoadshow, pointed me to this last night. It is poetry. In our continuing Poemapalooza to celebrate National Poetry Month.

“I am so amazed at times that I am actually alive.” Such a profound statement, perhaps regarding the fragility of life, from someone whose art succumbs to the whispering breeze.

I am reminded of those who carve gorgeous ice sculptures or build elaborate structures out of sand at the beach. The fate of their art is known yet that does not keep them from living the moment.

Follow your heart and do what makes you happy, even if it may escape the reason of others!

I love Andy Goldsworthy too. A special treat is when one of his creations appears in my dreams. I especially like his work with leaves, now that is poetry!
