Start handing out stars.

In just 3 minutes, she has done what I tried to do in the 240 pages of Life is a Verb.

The hardest thing about having nothing is having nothing to give.

Start handing out stars.

This is for saying yes.

Powerful.

My thanks to Kathryn Gunn for pointing me to this powerful performance.

  • Andrea Gibson is the most phenomenal artist I have ever seen perform…I wrote about her on my blog last year having only seen her on youtube, and then just a few weeks ago got to see her in person. She is even more powerful than you can imagine. Her new CD, Yellowbirds is just beyond….(check out the title track on youtube – anyone who is driven by the need to create will find themselves in her words). Thanks for sharing this gain Patti, I’ll never get tired of hearing it. (um yes, I’ve got the hugest gushy groupie crush on her you can possibly imagine)

  • Whew!

This is a marvelous start and my first exposure to Andrea Gibson. Thank you, internets, for the stored-up goodies I can go find now!

Thanks, Patti, for demonstrating once again how smart you are in attracting really cool peeps who can clue us all in.

  • I think you did do exactly this in your book, which I am just now finishing – having taken lots of time to savor it since buying it from you in TN (at the unschooling gathering; I am the Pipi loving red head). I found your blog now through Jen Lemen posting a link to you and this powerful video. You’re both stars.

  • I saw Andrea win the first Women of The World poetry slam contest in Detroit – and I’ve seen her whenever I can since then. She’s an amazing talent –all of that passion. When do we loose it? I hope she holds on to hers.
