This is for Jodi “moo moo head”

Tessie and Foo Foo Head from Patti Digh on Vimeo.

My friend Jodi broke her leg bone, one of those big ones, one of the ones she usually stands up on. Tessie made a little video for her, to cheer her up. I love her ending. I also love her expectation that Jodi, someone she has never met, will come to her birthday party. Aren't YOU coming?

And Eleanor Roosevelt (or Barbara Bush?) made one too, never being one to be left out. Enjoy, Jodi! It turns out that laughter really IS the best medicine.

Eleanor Roosevelt wishes Jodi "Moo Moo Head" Cohen a speedy recovery! from Patti Digh on Vimeo.

  • Mrs Doubtfire! Where have you been all these years (well, apart from your time in the freezer recently)?

I do hope poor J. Moo-Moo Foo-Foo recovers quickly, and her recovery is bound to be hastened by such delightful snippets of video as these!

I am please to report that due to this “medicine” I will not have a chance of being sick until July, 2010.

But I might need a new pair of pants.

Be well, Jodi! Decorate the cast!

Tess and Lydia would become instant pals, as I have heard the exact same “moo-moo/foo-foo head” phrases out of her mouth. Must be a pre-school/Kindergarten version of Facebook out there where they have connected and come up with their own special language.

The second video, on the other hand, is just disturbing on some level…
    ;-)

  • On SOME level, Betsy? How about on EVERY level?

  • Miss Marshall

What was poor Eleanor doing in the freezer, pray tell?

What a delightful gift for Jodi!

May I have some ice cream, please? I haven’t had any since back in those waning days of warmth, lo these six months or so ago….

  • Hmmm…is ice cream vegan?

  • Miss Marshall – She was just chillaxin.

    Sally – C’mon down!

Janet – I live with heathens.

    1. I can’t believe someone else uses “Foo Foo” as a name- that was my chartreuse stuffed dog’s name when I was about 5.
    2. “Eleanor Roosevelt/Barbara Bush”‘s voice sounds familiar….hmm, she’s in the freezer, in the kitchen – I think it’s Julia Child trapped in your freezer!?!?!?!

  • Hee hee hee! Good thing I wasn’t drinking milk just then, or I think it would be coming out my nose now.

Is Eleanor consulting on new Ben & Jerry’s flavors or something?

And, on a more serious note, is the fabulous onetruemedia barnraising video “embeddable” as these vimeo ones are? Just wondering…
