Every day should be an experiment in creativity

Callie I love all the art in Life is a Verb. Each piece tells a story–of the essay it illustrates, but more importantly, of the person who made the art, who created their own interpretation, who linked it to their own life in some way.

One of the artists is Jennifer Krentz whose work can be found on pages 31, 179, and 220 in Life is a Verb. Along with those fabulous pieces, she sent another one, this one done by her then-11-year-old daughter, Callie.

Her story of Callie’s involvement in this "artistic barn-raising," and that of her own experiments in creativity, can be found today on her blog, Saying yes…, as part of the LIAV Blog Tour ’08. My thanks to both mother and daughter for helping to make this book a work of art!

[If you love Callie’s artwork as much as I do, be sure to leave a comment for her on Jennifer’s site…!]
