your daily rock : make it your own

I remember the first time I ever saw an Art Car, covered in mosaic and paint and silver and gold.

“But you can’t do that!” I remember thinking to myself, as if cars were sacrosanct. Perhaps it was all those Saturdays washing our family car with our father, cleaning the whitewall tires with bleach and a toothbrush. It just had never occurred to me that I could paint whatever I wanted on my car, that I could adorn it and make it fully my own.

Perhaps we’re too worried about “resale value” to actually inhabit what we have.

Make it your own, whatever it is. Fully inhabit your life.

Love,
