your daily rock : celebrate everything!!

We shortchange ourselves by only celebrating on “important” occasions.

That’s why I never leave the house without a package of birthday candles in my purse. Because you never know when a celebration will break out.

And you’ll want to be prepared.

Celebrate the sun coming up! Celebrate the coffee cup in your kitchen, the way the clouds move, the fast-moving stream. Celebrate the people who irritate you–certainly they need a celebration! Celebrate the invention of the phone and flush toilets and the printing press! Celebrate bananas and kiwi! Celebrate trees! Sidewalks! The sound of the wind!

Celebrate everything today! See how that feels!
