your daily rock : be a superhero

I’m reading Ruth Ozeki’s new novel, A Tale for the Time Being (and loving it).

At one point in the book, there is mention of having a SUPAPAWA! Being a SUPAHIRA with a SUPAPAWA!

I told Tess about it, and she and I haven’t stopped talking about it yet: “My name is Tess! I have a SUPAPAWA!”

What’s your SUPAPAWA? What does it mean to be a SUPAHIRA?

I think being fully human is a superpower:

“Do I want to be a hero to my son? No. I would like to be a very real human being. That’s hard enough.” -Robert Downey, Jr.

Be a very real human being today. That’s your SUPAPAWA!

Love,

I loved that phrase SUPAPAWA in Ozeki’s book!! I want to have a tee shirt made but wonder could that word be copyrighted? R.O. Should get all the credit, although I wonder I’d that word is used in Japanese pop culture and RO did not create it?
