what really showing up for someone looks like

Watch this video–all of it. (Be prepared with tissues.)

What Lisa Fenn has done so beautifully and authentically is show up for these two young men. Really show up for them. Not once, and not at a distance, but consistently, over time, and with great love in close proximity to their lives.

This story touched me deeply–this is what really showing up for someone else looks like.

Not just when it’s convenient or when we are prepared for it, but when it is needed.

There is so much to learn from the indomitable spirits of these young men, and from her engagement with them, her “right helpfulness.”

Bless you, Lisa Fenn, for really showing up.
