your daily rock : forget about the audience

Make a strong offer without trying to please the audience, or amuse them, or get them to like you, or influence their response to you.

Detach from investing in what other people think–you can never control that anyway. Nothing you do can really control that. Instead, focus on what you can control: your offer, your art, your life.

Paulo Coelho has written, “I write from my soul. This is the reason that critics don’t hurt me, because it is me. If it was not me, if I was pretending to be someone else, then this could unbalance my world, but I know who I am.”

Know who you are.

Love,
