your daily rock : walk hand in hand

Sometimes the sh*t hits the fan. Like this week, with bombs at the Boston Marathon and lock downs in the whole city, an earthquake in China, explosions in Texas, floods in the Midwest, tornado warnings, and more.

Like Ram Dass, I think “we’re all just walking each other home,” every single day–in the best and in the worst of circumstances.

May we make that walk hand in hand. May we remember the ways in which we pull together in times of crisis and never let that go.

May we also remember our fellow human beings in places of conflict where bombings are an everyday occurrence, every day, each day. May we walk with them in their terror as well.

Who can you “walk home” today, hand in hand?
