your daily rock : shake them off

“When people hurt you over and over, think of them like sandpaper. They may scratch and hurt you a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless.”
-Anonymous

When we get hurt by others, we have a choice: we can welcome them into our lives and hearts where they can continue to poison us, or we can be thankful we are not them and that we don’t see the world the way they do, we can say a silent “wow,” and then we can let them go.

Shake them off. The weight to carry them along with us is too great.

Love,
