Tired

Tired"A man grows most tired while standing still." – Chinese proverb

"One may go a long way after one is tired." – French proverb

If you look closely at these two quotations, you may discover a common theme. Or not.

  • Mmm, yes. I thought being between jobs would be relaxing and fun. It’s not. I have more energy on days when I pitch in with the housework, make dinner for the family.

Got a letter from my friend the other day, a writer. “The more you write, the more you write,” she says.

  • Ah, thanks for making me ponder…so glad that you are enjoying your class.

  • It’s a funny thing about balance, Patti. Many who are too busy crave relaxation, but then they’re not capable of relaxing when the opportunity arrives.

I like the quote from the founder of Ikea: “Mistakes are the privilege of the active.” Even maintaining movement is key to relaxation.

    Love your thoughts!
