Poetry Wednesday : The Art of Disappearing

I, too, carry this poem with me to remind me of the “no,” of all those times I should become a cabbage in order to remember what is important.

  • I have written, poetry included, since I could hold a pencil. I have a light shining from deep within and I pause, often, to consider my gifts and the treasures of those who illuminate my days. I’ve never sought fame, recognition or even the simplest acknowledgement that people are paying attention. I live this way because it is enough. At the core it is love. I’m engaged with my life’s work.
