your daily rock : enjoy the ride

Finally! A chance to use a quote from Johnny Depp:

“I think the thing to do is to enjoy the ride while you’re on it.”

I don’t like roller coasters very much. But when we visited Disney World with Emma when she was younger, she wanted to ride all of them, repeatedly. And so we did. The more tense I was while riding, the harder it was, physically and mentally. When I could loosen my grip and not resist the turns, it became easier, and far more fun.

Just like life.
