your daily rock : what do you love to do?
My friend Lisa Evans taught me this.
It changes things:
When you meet someone, don’t ask them “What do you do?”
Instead, ask them “What do you love to do?”
The difference is palpable, heart-filled; it is a question that opens space rather than close it down. It allows people to tell you about their passions instead of being pinned like a butterfly to a board by a job title that might not reflect that deeper them, the part that sustains them and makes them fully human.
Today, ask the people you see “what do you love to do?”
Love,
