transform your life.

DYLC-FINAL

I mused on Facebook a few weeks ago how much fun it would be to hold a summer camp for adults.

And now that dream has come true (except for the summer part)! We will convene near Atlanta, Georgia, from October 4-6, 2013 (with an optional pre-camp writing workshop on October 3).

We are going to have conversations that matter. We are going to hear from amazing speakers. We are going to laugh – a lot. And we are going to explore Courage, Creativity, and Community.

This is going to be amazing. Full of surprises. Transformational.

Speakers include poet and activist Andrea Gibson, Typerider Maya Stein, authors and teachers Jen Louden and Susan Piver, artist and author Mary Anne Radmacher, entrepreneur, author, and coach Pam Slim, writer and speaker Colleen Wainwright, photographer and author Karen Walrond, the women of the 3x3x365 blog, and SO MANY MORE!

The Focus sessions will include:

The Courage to Open Your Heart (Susan Piver)

The Courage to Try Again…Tomorrow (Mary Anne Radmacher)

The Courage to Be Plush (Chi Sherman)

The Courage to Be Giddy (Maya Stein)

The Courage to Create a Body of Work (Pam Slim)

The Courage to Be Uncommonly Beautiful (Karen Walrond)

The Create! Sessions will include:

Writing with Whimsy (Maya Stein)

It’s IN The Cards… (Mary Anne Radmacher)

Creative Dance Listening (Jen Louden)

Meditation: A New Take (Susan Piver)

Mind Over Chatter: Confronting Your Inner Critic (Quinn McDonald)

Be A Rock Fairy – Ways to Share the Love (Kim Mailhot, “The Rock Fairy”)

Laughter Yoga (Becky Johnson)

Discovering Your Own Personal Symbol (Mary Anne Radmacher)

And many more!

Take a look! I hope you will join us! You can register for as little as $37 down and use our payment plan to be able to attend. Or (until April 30), you can buy a ticket for yourself and get one for a friend for over 60% off, reducing both your costs!

Have something you want to share? See our call for speakers.

Want a visual look? Here’s our Pinterest board, in progress.

These are the words I wrote down when I started planning this event, a vision list, if you will: Inspiring, moving, surprising, intentional, meaningful, delightful, thought-provoking, transformational. It is going to be all of those things. I hope you will join us.

Love,
