your daily rock : bloom where you are planted

In truth, there is enormous space in which to live our everyday lives.” -Pema Chödrön, Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living

Our everyday lives are so potent. The soil is so rich in the every day. A friend always tells me that gardening is putting a 10 cent plant in a 10 dollar hole. It’s the soil we need to tend to, nourish, feed.

What if we focused on blooming right here, right now, not waiting for the there and the when? What if these are the perfect conditions for growth?

How can you nourish your soil today?

Love,
