My neighbor called frantically asking if I had seen her horse. He had somehow gotten out of his paddock. It was 16 degrees outside. I bundled up and walked up to her house to help her find him. We found him visiting his horse friends at another neighbor’s house, safe and sound. The relief and smile on her face made it all worthwhile. She thanked me for showing up. : )

on this day of wind and clouds and sounds of orange groves being picked for market, i am showing up for the pure souls who were/are, born “still.” a dear friend has turned this personal tragedy into a feature film entitled: “Return to Zero.” a “kickstarter campaign” was launched today in order to to raise funds for post production and i am asking everyone i know to spread the word and join the campaign. i read the script early on and was on set for a couple of days of shooting. the cast, crew, and story are incredibly real without being too sad or too syrupy or sentimental. please join me (and so many others) support the birth of this baby!!!! go to http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1994087663/return-to-zero-starring-minnie-driver-and-paul-ade” and thank you, in advance, for showing up with me!
