your daily rock : create your own tribe

What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.” ? Kurt Vonnegut

We are tribal creatures, at our best in moments of healthy community and connection—those structures of belonging that can buoy and sustain us. Creating our “tribe” sometimes means rejecting tribes that aren’t healthy for us, that don’t encourage us but bring us down or make us small. Seek out people who challenge and support you instead.

What step can you take toward either creating or strengthening your tribe today?

Love,
