mindful monday.

fiona monks My tattoo has three questions from the Buddha on it.

I am thinking of those questions today, as we end 2012.

How well did you love?

How fully did you live?

How deeply did you let go?

And to those three, I would add this one: Did you make a difference?

The short version of my answers, this year:

I loved well, without judgment.

I lived fully, most days.

I let go deeply, practicing engaged detachment.

I made a difference to my family.

Tomorrow, the two questions I ask myself every New Year’s Day.

Love,
