I have started doing readings in homeless shelters.

I want to do this work in the world.

If you’re alive, you’re creative.

If you make art, you find and define who you are in the process.

Life is art.

Your life is art.

Funny this is in my inbox this a.m. I woke with a full-blown community-based program “Hunger, Homelessness and Hope” based around painting doors (preferably folks who are homeless doing the painting – I already have the artist volunteers to work one one one because I’ve been sorta thinking about this abstractly and talking about it in a future sort of way). I’ve been away from organizing for 10 years. I take this as the sign it’s time to drop back in. Because it made me smile. (and because this energy I call The Wylde Woman has come roaring back into my life.)
