Cokie-urn

mind :: my brain and yours

The truth of how we celebrate Earth Day.

I feel famous because Mr Brilliant is friends with Max Moerman who was a featured scholar on the PBS series on Buddha (and who looks a lot like Kenneth Branagh, by the way–Max, not Buddha). THE MAN HAS EATEN PASTA IN MY DINING ROOM. (Yet again, Max, not Buddha).

Tired of blah, blah, blah conferences? How to run a great unconference session.

body :: my place and yours

Oh, lawd, honey child, I THINK NOT.

I've invited them over for cupcakes and a game of Apples to Apples while they're here. I feel pretty positive they'll say yes. I hear helicopters over my house checking out our wisteria AS WE SPEAK.

I'm going to start writing with Smencils.

soul :: my heart and yours

Please promise me that when I die you will remind Mr Brilliant to put my ashes in a beautiful old cookie jar shaped like something fun. Life goes on. (Thanks to Jane Fazio)

Hope springs eternal. From rejection notes to the Pulitzer.

Let's all be mildly creative. Art, grief, and transformation.

A final thought :: There is no solution; seek it lovingly. -Harlan Miller [Image from here]
