Wonderful video. How interesting that it comes from Japan. When I was there in the 80s, I saw very little allowance for individual differences.
Having one little artist in my house (and another learning the hold artists’ tools), I once found myself pressing the 4 year old to color the sun yellow. Then caught myself – um, why? Wouldn’t a pink sun be so much more fun?
Amazing how quickly we expect children to conform.
