simple saturday.

Twitter bird

A few days ago on Twitter, I had myself a little rant. Maybe it was being in the throes of writing a book, pages all around, words falling all through me. Maybe it was a hot flash working itself out. Who knows the reason, but the result was that I ranted about complexity and simplicity by offering four-word guides to all manner of things.

Perhaps they are appropriate for "simple saturday," this distilling to the core. Each is only four words. It cuts down on the editing process. And on printing costs. And, perhaps, on feeling overwhelmed.

Here are a few examples:

My guide to travel: Tip the hotel maid.

My guide to driving: Never beep, always yield.

My guide to mentoring: Learn from your protege.

My guide to blogging: Long to say something.

My guide to strategic planning: Ask why, not how.

I hope you'll add your own four word self help books as you read it.

This free "Four Word Self Help" madness is here … If you'd like to receive updates to it in my monthly newsletter, you can also fill this out to receive an email with a link to the mini-book and a subscription to my newsletter. I hope you'll enjoy it.
