  • Your post about Tycho touched my heart. What a beautiful kitty he was. (((Hugs to you)))

  • Our animals have such a big and important place in our hearts, don’t they? That was a beautiful post you wrote back then, honouring Tycho. I had a similar thing with my dog…I lost my Mum very suddenly and unexpectedly, and two months later my dog, at a premature age 6. I was so full of grief for my Mum that I hadn’t noticed he wasn’t ‘quite right’. It was utterly heartbreaking. Grief upon grief upon grief (there was still more to come, had I known I might have jumped off the bus), and yet it’s opened my heart, and I’m a better person (I think!) for it.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • I lost my cat, Bailey, last month. She died in her sleep a day after my wedding, boarded at the vet because she was too sick to stay home alone. I know we did the right things for her and that she wasn’t ready to go until then, sick as she was. My heart will ache for a long time, as I’m sure yours still does for your Tycho.

  • I couldn’t read Tycho’s story all the way through. It was too painful and close to home for me. I just sent my beloved Bear Home, as you know, and it is among the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

Tycho was a beautiful soul, I can see it in his eyes. Very similar in personality to my zen kitty, Bear, may they both rest in peace and eternal love.

    Blessings,
    Carolynn
