Magic still happens.

Tess pig A few weeks ago, magic happened.

You might remember a pig and chicken incident when Tess was in pre-K.

Think "desire."

That story begins:

"To the naked eye, this might look like picture of a little plastic pig and a little plastic chicken.

But it is not. In fact, you could not be more wrong. This isn’t a picture of a little plastic pig and a little plastic chicken, no. This, my friend, is a picture of what absolute, burning, overwhelming desire looks like."

Tess pig4 You might need to read that story to fully understand.

A woman named Paula J. Kelly recently read the story.

Tess pig9 She remembered something in her pile of Duplo toys.

And she sent a package to Tess.

Tess pig6 The pig arrived to the absolute pure speechless joy of Tess.

Tess pig8 My thanks to Paula for making a little girl so very very happy.

What is your pig?

  • Tears. Read this post. Then the original post. Then this again. Tears.

So, so lovely. Her face, her desire, her gratitude – beautiful.

  • Chasey

My youngest daughter,”Chayley”,just turned 4yrs,on Sept.2nd.She as well,LOVES PIGS!She asked if I would make her a “pink pig cake” and I did.We gave her a large, stuffed toy pig for her birthday, which she loved! How heartwarming,to see that Tess also loves piggies,as does my daughter. One of my daughter’s current favorite piggy books is “If you give a pig a pancake”.She of course wants a pet pig one day. We’re hoping to own an acreage one day in the near future,to be able to grant her that wish. How ironic, that after I stopped eating pork,(about six months ago),the pig became my daughter’s favorite animal?

  • Acausal ConnEction

This story warmed my heart. My “pig”? Well, let’s just say that I still hold hope that what I desire so much in this life will somehow find a way back to me, much like Tess’ pig.

Tess’ pig looks lonely without his chicken friend. I have found the chicken and am having it sent to you so you can give it to her.

  • I love magic ! This kind gives me such hope.
Congrats, Tess ! We will all be on the look out for that Chicken now…
    Happy Sunday !
