    Happy Birthday girlfriend! I’m just sure I had a doll cake just like that! One with a pretty little hand crocheted dress! Love your photo! What happy times! Wishing you many birthday blessings!

    Patti, as a long-time reader and (I think?) first-time poster I just wanted to wish you a fantastic birthday and to let you know that your event in Chicago has been subtly harassing my headspace for months. I wish I could be there, but as a broke college grad in New York things didn’t quite add up as quickly as I would have wanted them to (AUGUST 14th! I remember saying, WHY, THAT’S a FULL THREE MONTHS after graduation!)

    Either way, know that you are appreciated immensely and that I’m there in spirit!

    I remember those dolly cakes too (never got one though) and I also remember having a large wooden spoon and fork exactly like the ones on the wall behind you in the pic. lol

    Oh my gosh! I had the same birthday cake, my favorite of all time, when I was the same age. I also had that miniature piano!

    Happy Belated Birthday Patti!
    My daughter’s 9th birthday was two days before your’s.And my Mother and sister’s birthdays,were the day before.
