Let me read to you.

Patti Digh 005 I have so loved traveling around this fine land of ours to read from Life is a Verb. So loved it. All my incredible hosts, all the people who came out so I could meet them and learn from them and laugh with them. So special to me. Amazing and touching and enriching.

As with all those readings, when I read at the Georgia Center for the Book, it was a special evening. Such an amazing setting and wow at the fantastic energy in the room. After dinner with a local book club, hosted by the remarkable Twitten knitter Laurie Foley, and followed by a mini-Guilford reunion with Katherine and Howard, it was such a special night.

I hope you might enjoy this recording of that evening's special reading.

I love to have someone read to me. The dirty dishes in the sink waited, as they always do, while I listened to your voice read some of my favorite stories from the book. Now I will go enjoy the extraordinary sight of water coming from my shower head as I hurry to make it out the door on time to pick up my granddaughter so that she can point out the ‘beeg schoo bus” or the trash truck as we drive home. Thanks so much, Patti.

  • That evening was magical, Patti. My book group is still talking about it. You were so generous with your time and stories – thank you!

  • How wonderful to hear your voice. Thank you! xox
