Go to Hastings

Patti and Robin I wonder if you can find me in this photo, me wearing THE MINISCULE BLUE JEANS in "Burn Those Jeans"….

I'm going to Hastings, Nebraska, tomorrow to work for a few days with educators (my favorite gig!) and community members, one of whom is the girl in the pea coat in this photo with me from Freedom High School.

I love it when life is circular like that.

  • Have a magical trip to Nebraska and may many tings come full circle…I love it when that happens !

  • I also love it when life comes full circle and I am finding that when I slow down and am more mindful of moments I am able to ‘see’ that life often comes full circle – sometimes we just are too busy to ‘see’ it. Happy Friendship Reunion.

I saw the word Hastings and got really excited (then realised of course that it wasn’t Hastings UK! doh). Maybe one day your book tour could come visit the UK?

  • I love Nebraska :) My parents both grew up just South of North Platte. I’ve even been to Hastings! Enjoy!

  • Hey, I recognize the editor of the school paper when I see her.

Glad to hear you got to experience one of our great nature shows which are far larger than any fireworks display! We have had some amazingly impressive thunderboomers over the last two weeks–we get to see them in Denver before we pass them along to our Nebraska/Kansas peeps.
