Candles for a wee boy from Kentucky.

Johnny-depp I mean, seriously, what kind of crazed stalker hormonal menopausal sleep deprived hot flashing fan (who may or may not have gone to every bookstore in town last night to find the new Vanity Fair with someone on the cover) would I be if I didn't at least say a wee happy birthday today to a little known actor named Johnny Depp?

It’s okay, Patti. I think he’s awesome, too! Plus, I have the same, er, fascination for Viggo Mortensen. Ah well.

    Oh, Johnny…

(Really. Is there anything else to say?!)

I’m off to get my own Vanity Fair. You know, according to the winter edition of “Greater Good”, scientists have determined that looking at someone you find attractive boosts your immune system. So I guess drooling over him is kind of like taking a vitamin? :)

As his number one crazed stalker hormonal menopausal sleep deprived hot flashing fan, you had to, of course ! Thanks for sharing your eye-ya-yeye candy ! Kentucky grows ’em fine…;)

He has to be the most perfect looking man ever. I saw him on “21 Jumpstreet” (20 years ago?) and have been smitten ever since. I watched “Sweeney Todd” last night and realized they just can’t make him look bad.

    Happy Birthday Gorgeous!

What a lovely start to a day – I know he has a house in Bath (40miles from me), maybe I should head down there with some cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never had a Johnny crush, but did become a fan when he made this declaration during an interview with Oprah-

“…the term serious actor is kind of an oxymoron, isn’t it?”

I’ve spent my whole life in theatre thinking that, but never heard it stated so perfectly. Talent and training help, as well as quite a bit of luck and perseverance. However, unlike neuro-bio-physic-surgical rocket science, most anyone can learn to do it if they really really want to.

Mee-OW! And that’s all I have to say about that.
