    Thank you for reminding me how much I love Eva Cassidy. I’ve forgotten to listen to this song and Fields of Gold and Songbird for far too long. I’m thinkin’ an Eva Cassidy songfest turned up real loud tomorrow morning after the hubster leaves for work!

    You know, I close my eyes and listen to Eva singing this song every so often…and I find it so moving every time. But I’d never seen her singing it. Wow. Breath-taking. That she left us so early, at the tender age of 33, breaks my heart. But what a gift she’s left us. I’ll treasure this. Thanks, Patti. xo

    I can’t listen to Eva Cassidy without crying my guts out. so, no, I didn’t make it through the song, but it’s gorgeous and I love it.
