Eat a cupcake in the sun

A scene captured by Mr Brilliant recently when we traveled to beautiful little Saluda, North Carolina, for a Life is a Verb reading. More on that journey soon, but this tiny vignette – complete with a full-body shimmy after she takes a bite of the cupcake – captured my imagination, what with the red brick wall and the green bench and a girl that I love. We should all find some afternoon sun, a bench, and a cupcake someday soon.

I love this! That full body shimmy is priceless. We should all find such simple joys in our lives and feel the freedom to express it. Thank you for sharing.

P.S. Mr. Brilliant is quite the videographer these days. Any secrets to his process? The videos look great.

Yep, that’s exactly how a cupcake tastes. If I weren’t so focused on fitting into my wedding dress I’d go out and get one right now.
