Automotive Acne explores toast rules

Toast_rules The Blog Tour continues today with Allan Smithee at Automotive Acne (Productions) excerpting one of my favorite essays, "Bust your toast rules," along with the beautiful art of Leah Piken Kolidas, one of the 125 pieces of original art in Life is a Verb.

My thanks to him for featuring Life is a Verb on his wonderfully eclectic blog, where I first was intrigued by the lists of foods consumed, and where I can move seamlessly from physics to posts with wonderfully sly names to a soda vs pop map.

Interestingly, in looking through the archives, I saw that just three days ago, this very same blog featured none other than my own Mr Brilliant!

My thanks for participating in the Blog Tour-a-palooza!

  • Omygod, I just read Bust Your Toast Rules and my DH got out of his recliner in the living room leaving his TV and came into the kitchen to see what I was laughing so hard about. I was bordering on becoming hysterical! This is the funniest piece of anything I have read in a long time.
That was the most absurb experience anyone could ever have had. I am still hungry for you reading it wondering if you left there having eaten anything, the table cloth perhaps, a napkin, some sugar bags? OY!!!
Thanks for making my day’s ending an utter delight!

  • Isn’t Allan Smithee the name directors and screenwriters use when they don’t want their real names associated with a movie?

I’m loving seeing how different bloggers present, and talk about, your book. It hits us all so personally!
