A week with Sherku…

Billy_collins_1 The next stop on the Life is a Verb Blog Tour ’08 is with Steve Sherlock, a man I’ve never met, but who has commented on 37days almost from the very beginning in 2005. Turns out, he’ll spend the week celebrating Life is a Verb this week! My thanks, Steve. This is the very same man who tracked down Billy Collins at a poetry festival and got him to sign a program for me! That’s a photo of the very same Billy accompanying this post in celebration of the fact that Steve tempts me every two years with a poetry festival that features Billy Collins… I’ll make it there in 2010, Steve, I promise!

I had the pleasure of talking with Steve recently as he interviewed me for his blog. I hope you’ll enjoy sitting in on that conversation! And I hope you’ll take a stroll through Steve’s "sherku," his version of Haiku!

  • I thought “Wow … doesn’t he look like Billy Collins!”… and then I read the post. I really am enjoying all these posts and your blog tour. Thanks so much!

  • Patti, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. Hopefully, the “others” will as well.

FYI – The Dodge Festival is coming up the 9/25-28. Billy is scheduled to read a few times during those days.

I will hold you to getting to Dodge in 2010! :-)
