Life is a Verb, after all: Come, play, find your passion, write your story, join us

Bend_of_ivy Just a quick Mark Your Calendar note – more details to follow. The only 37days retreat in 2008 will be held at the beautiful Bend of Ivy Lodge near Asheville, NC, on September 26-28, 2008.

If you’d like to be among the first to receive more information about the retreat as it is finalized in the next few weeks, please leave your info below. To allow for breathing room and space, registration will be limited.

September will be beautiful in the mountains of North Carolina; it would be lovely to have you there for a weekend of exploring, writing, envisioning, creativity, and play.

I’ll be leading the retreat with my favorite artist and creative partner, David Robinson.

I don’t think I can wait until September to find my passion.

  • Kurt – this made me laugh out loud, sitting here with my earl grey tea in my fuzzy slippers. How about if you find your passion by 3pm today, misplace it on August 31st, then come to the retreat in September to find it again?

  • My birthday is on the 30th of September, but alas, I do not have a hope in hell of getting away for a weekend. (Kids, work, etc, PLUS, I still don’t have a passport – I really do hate paperwork that much). But, I will be with you in spirit. :)

  • It’s my birthday weekend, too! I’ve stayed at Bend of Ivy before… such a beautiful, beautiful space. And Walker is a beautiful woman, too.

In just thinking about whether I can swing this (moving, unschooling retreats, etc.), I got such an excited feeling! 3rd job, here I come! lol

  • Wow, I would really love to do that….

I love the idea of getting a passport to get to Patti’s retreat! we will no doubt create a different place in space like no other when we are there together. Bookmark that site, and we can always practice teleporting ourselves in spirit. I’ve been trying for years to learn how to bi-locate when time, commitments, and just life sometimes keeps me from being in two places at the same time. And as I am now just reading Ellen Langer, I’m realizing how to be more mindful for my creativity. Your retreat sounds like a step in that direction!
