37days on your wrist

Choose_your_seatmatesSometimes we need reminders to make the most of our 37 days, don’t we?

Several readers have asked about the 37days jewelry that I’ve posted here before–I had a few pieces made by a wonderful artist in Santa Fe for my older daughter, Emma. Sarah has agreed to make them for 37days readers, too.

If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself or for a holiday gift, perhaps, you can visit my new store online. Just a few things there–my hope is to keep it simple and ensure that everything is handmade so I can support artists in the world like Sarah who are doing what I’d like to be doing–getting up every morning and pondering the world around them in metal or oils or textiles.

Redefine_normalHope you will enjoy! And even more than that, I hope it will actually work since I don’t have a clue what I’m doing trying to set up an online store since I can’t even figure out how to download NPR broadcasts onto my iPod that I can’t figure out how to use. Keep those fingers crossed and happy shopping….

  • Nice items in your store!—I have committed to making all my holiday gifts this year (with the exception of a few books—which are too good to not gift)

The whole notion is to encourage folks to buy handmade gifts…..

  • Great idea, Patti. Supporting local artists, like buying from local farms, is what feels most right to me.

  • Becky

I love supporting local artists… Trying to figure out what I want my three words to be… I know one will be ‘yes’.

  • When will the calendars mail?

  • Sorry – just went to “the store” and saw the date. Excuse the ring, as they say.

  • Saw your blog on zena musings and was intrigued. One of the most profound experiences of my life has been the last 9 months of life a friend of mine spent in my home before she crossed over to the otherside, due to a brain tumor. We didn’t know how much time she had so we, her friends and I, lived as if each day was her last in our midst. It changed us all. Being present to the moment is now more important to me than ever before. I also learned to continue the relationship with her from the other side of this reality. Sometimes I share her communication to me with others on my blog. I think your work is so important! Thank you for doing this. It helps to have a reminder that focus on this moment in time is so important to our journey here. I look forward, when time permits, to reading more of your past and future posts. Good to meet another kindred spirit! Blessings, Sr. K
