  • What an amazing quote from Thoreau. Hey, believe it or not, I have never read any Anne Lamott. Which work would you recommend I read first? I enjoy fiction and non-fiction equally.

  • Ah, what to leave alone? The job that pays so well and leaves the soul dry? The boss who swaysvto political winds? The worry about how to manage without the above?

But home and garden and family, these are keepers. jobs come and go but who we are remains the same at the centre.

  • I like the quote (Covey, I think) who said that “the quality of our yeses is determined by the quantity of our nos.”
